Eckert Seamans Promotes 21 Attorneys Across Partnership Levels

National law firm Eckert Seamans has promoted 21 attorneys across member (partner) tiers, including ten to equity membership and 11 from associate to special member, effective June 11, 2024. The firm’s promoted attorneys represent a diverse range of practice groups and are based in offices across the firm’s platform, including Boston, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Princeton, Richmond, and Wilmington.

Nicholas F. Borsuk is based in Eckert Seamans’ Pittsburgh office, where he focuses on commercial litigation. He has a broad range of litigation skills in the areas of financial services, product liability, oil & gas, and tort defense. Borsuk has extensive experience in numerous state and federal courts handling and assisting in matters from the pleadings stage to judgment.
Michael R. Butler practices in the firm’s Princeton office, where he represents local, regional, and national developers, religious organizations, private schools, and non-profit entities in all aspects of real estate transactions and land development in New Jersey. He has extensive experience advising on residential developments, mixed-use developments, solar facilities, industrial and pharmaceutical facilities, office complexes, and shopping centers.
Nicholas M. Gaunce is based in the firm’s Princeton office. He is an experienced litigator whose practice revolves around serving two distinct types of institutional clients: banks and financial institutions and insurance carriers and self-insured entities. Gaunce handles all aspects of the litigation process for troubled loans, including foreclosures, bankruptcies, workouts, and collection actions.
Ernest D. Holtzheimer is based in Eckert Seamans’ Philadelphia office. He is an experienced transactional attorney, having assisted numerous U.S. and international clients in transformative mergers and acquisitions and complex commercial transactions valued in excess of $2.5 billion across multiple industries, including manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, food and beverage, e-commerce and retail, education, software, and industrial and business services.
Kristi Panduku practices in the firm’s Boston office, where he concentrates in the areas of business counseling, mergers and acquisitions, commercial loan transactions, leasing and real estate matters. He primarily advises individuals and businesses on such matters as acquisitions, sales, corporate organizations, equity and debt financings, corporate governance issues, and drafting and negotiating various sophisticated corporate and commercial agreements.
Alexandra Rogin is based in the firm’s Wilmington office, where she focuses her practice on corporate and commercial litigation and professional liability, including matters involving business disputes, professional negligence, breach of contract, business torts, financial services, fraud, and medical product liability. Her practice includes a particular emphasis on the representation of businesses, executives, and health care providers and innovators in complex legal actions.
Jeffrey E. Robb practices in the firm’s Pittsburgh office, where he represents hotel owners, brands, managers and lenders with a wide range of hospitality matters. He also assists investors with the purchase and sale of hotels, including preparation and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements and related documents, among other matters.
Amy Z. Snyder serves as Co-Member-In-Charge of the firm’s Philadelphia office and as Co-Chair of the Women’s Initiative @ Eckert Seamans. She has decades of experience working with public and private employers on a wide range of traditional labor and employment law matters. Snyder represents clients in charges before federal, state, and local administrative agencies and federal and state court litigation.
Sarah C. Stoner is based in the firm’s Harrisburg office. She has a broad-based regulatory practice, with an emphasis on public utility law and gaming law. Stoner has extensive experience assisting clients with license applications before regulatory bodies, contested enforcement matters, rulemaking proceedings, and regulatory review.
Nathaniel C. Wilks practices in Eckert Seamans’ Pittsburgh office and has over a decade of experience representing clients in all aspects of intellectual property law. He is a registered patent attorney with extensive experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications domestically and managing procurement of patents worldwide.
The newly promoted Associates to Special Members are:
Michael A. Alberico is based in Eckert Seamans’ Princeton office. He focuses his practice on litigation, including commercial disputes and construction claims. His practice also encompasses municipal and land use law, and he has experience counseling business clients regarding waivers and risk management. Alberico’s litigation style focuses on working with clients to find the most effective solutions that best suit their needs.
Dylan D. Bishop is based in the firm’s Richmond office, where he provides strategic counsel to businesses and trade associations on utilizing the legislative, regulatory, and administrative processes to further their interests. Beyond advocacy, Bishop helps clients navigate licensing, regulatory compliance, and other complex legal issues inherent to highly regulated industries. Previously, as Chief of Staff, he led the office of the Virginia Senator who served as Chairman of the Virginia Senate Transportation Committee and the Virginia Joint Commission on Health Care.
Andrew J. Bond is based in Eckert Seamans’ Philadelphia office. He focuses his practice on professional liability matters, with particular emphasis on defending health care providers, hospitals, and physicians in complex medical malpractice actions. Bond is involved in all areas of case management and phases of litigation, drafting pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, preparing motions, preparing witnesses for deposition and trial testimony, retaining and working with expert witnesses, and participating in trial preparation, trial and arbitration, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
Harrison Kaplan is based in the firm’s Boston office, where he concentrates his practice on product liability, mass tort, and commercial litigation matters. Kaplan represents companies in local and national litigation matters and has experience resolving business disputes for clients involving commercial contract disputes and financial services. In addition, he serves as national coordinating counsel in asbestos litigation matters for an international manufacturer of HVAC equipment. In this role, he works directly with experts and corporate witnesses to develop defense and litigation strategies nationwide.
Roger LaLonde is based in Eckert Seamans’ Philadelphia office and concentrates his practice on intellectual property, unfair competition, data privacy, software and technology license agreements, and legal issues involving e-commerce and online advertising. LaLonde helps companies secure, protect, enforce, and maintain their IP and related assets, including trademarks, copyrights, domain names, and software and technology assets.
Randall S. MacTough is based in Eckert Seamans’ Wilmington office. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation and professional liability matters. MacTough’s client-focused approach to litigation enables him to produce creative solutions specifically catering to his client’s needs. He has extensive experience representing clients in complex civil matters litigated in Delaware’s federal and state courts.
Ryan A. Mentzer is based in the firm’s Harrisburg office. He assists municipalities, school districts, and municipal authorities in issuing tax-exempt bonds and notes to finance new projects and refinance outstanding debt. Mentzer also assists other beneficiaries of tax-exempt financing, including continuing care retirement communities, colleges, hospitals, and volunteer fire companies, and represents banking institutions in public finance transactions throughout Pennsylvania.
Richard J. Nalbandian is based in Eckert Seamans’ Philadelphia office, where he focuses his practice on mortgage foreclosures, Quiet Title, and evictions/ejectments. Nalbandian also represents residential lenders and mortgage servicers in complex litigation, handling unique issues that may arise during a residential mortgage foreclosure action and Deed-in-Lieu issues. He has extensive knowledge of sheriff’s sales in Pennsylvania and is also responsible for appeals and mediations.
Nicholas J. Schneider is based in Eckert Seamans’ Boston office. He focuses on complex commercial disputes and protects his clients’ interests inside and outside the courtroom. Schneider has experience representing clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, arbitrations, and mediations. He litigates matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, employment disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, copyright infringement, unfair competition, real estate disputes, class actions, and other commercial disputes.
Carson M. Shea is based in the firm’s Boston office, focusing on business, commercial, and employment litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative proceedings, arbitration, and mediation. Shea also defends financial institutions and loan servicers in various matters. Additionally, he represents clients in real estate and land use litigation, defends insurers and insureds in first-party litigation and third-party litigation, and counsels individuals concerning the state retirement statute.
Zachary M. Wallack is based in Eckert Seamans’ Boston office. He is an experienced litigator and trial attorney representing corporate and individual clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative proceedings, arbitration, and mediation. Wallack also counsels businesses involved in government investigations. He also has significant experience with construction litigation, representing general contractors, subcontractors, property owners, and others in contract disputes, construction defect cases, and premises liability matters.
