Eckert Seamans Attorneys Named Among Greater Boston’s Top Lawyers of 2024 by Boston Magazine

Eight attorneys from the Boston office of national law firm Eckert Seamans have been recognized among Greater Boston’s Top Lawyers of 2024 by Boston Magazine. This annual guide names attorneys from a wide range of specialties who combine legal expertise with a genuine commitment to helping their clients. The list is compiled through votes by industry peers in partnership with DataJoe. The top vote-getters in each specialty are then reviewed by an advisory board of select lawyers, chosen for their credentials and the high number of votes they received.

Harrison Kaplan focuses his practice on product liability, mass tort litigation, and commercial litigation matters. He represents companies in litigation both locally and nationally. Kaplan also has experience resolving business disputes for clients involving commercial contract disputes and financial services.

Eric Losey concentrates his practice on the defense of personal injury, property damage, and environmental cases, including the defense of asbestos, mass tort, and product liability litigation matters. He represents companies ranging from Fortune 500 manufacturing corporations and multinational companies to small businesses in asbestos litigation matters across the country in both state and federal court.

Kristi Panduku concentrates his practice in the areas of business counseling, mergers and acquisitions, commercial loan transactions, leasing and real estate matters. He primarily advises individuals and businesses on matters such as acquisitions, sales, corporate organizations, equity and debt financings, corporate governance issues, and drafting and negotiating various sophisticated corporate and commercial agreements.

Trevin Schmidt focuses his practice on complex civil ligation matters spanning business, commercial, insurance coverage, and employment disputes in state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative proceedings, and at arbitration and mediation. He also advises clients on employment issues to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations, as well as changes in laws that impact employers and their workforce.

Nicholas Schneider has been recognized as a Top Lawyer for four consecutive years since the list’s inception. He focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes and has experience representing clients of all sizes, from individuals to Fortune 500 companies, in state and federal trial and appellate courts, arbitrations, and mediations. He litigates matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, employment disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, copyright infringement, unfair competition, real estate disputes, class actions, and other commercial disputes.

Carson Shea focuses his practice on business and commercial litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative proceedings, and at arbitration and mediation. He also advises and defends clients in employment and product liability matters.

Craig Waksler focuses his practice primarily on the defense of asbestos and mass tort litigation matters and the defense of personal injury and property damage cases. He represents asbestos defendants in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, as well as companies throughout the U.S. that range from Fortune 500 manufacturing companies to small supply houses that manufacture/sell fluid sealing products, pumps, valves, boilers, water heaters, construction products, electrical products, brakes, engines, and marine products. Waksler also maintains an active insurance coverage practice, in which he has over 25 years of experience providing the country’s leading insurance companies with coverage advice. 

Zachary Wallack represents corporate and individual clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative proceedings, and at arbitration and mediation. He also counsels businesses involved in government investigations, including those conducted by the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
