Eckert Seamans Advances Leadership Team Term, Announces Board of Directors Additions

The Board of Directors of national law firm Eckert Seamans has reappointed all seven members of its Executive Committee for the 2026-2027 term, including Chief Executive Officer Scott D. Cessar and Executive Committee Chair Mark L. Reardon.  Dorothy A. Davis has been reappointed as Chair of the firm’s Board of Directors.

Eckert Seamans’ Executive Committee is responsible for the firm’s strategy, development of the firm’s competitive position, relationships with clients, business planning, and financial management. The full Executive Committee for the 2026-2027 term includes:

Eckert Seamans Members Drew M. Derco, Frank R. Emmerich, Jr. and Alexandra Rogin were voted to join open seats on the firm’s Board of Directors through the 2029 term. The full Board of Directors consists of 24 members from across the firm’s practice areas and geographic locations and is led by Davis.

In addition, Member Edward J. Longosz has been appointed as an Advisory Director to the firm’s Board of Directors. In this role, Longosz will provide insight and guidance to the Board, drawing on his experience within the firm and his deep understanding of its clients, practices, and culture.

Derco is based in the Washington, D.C. office, where he also serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Aviation practice group. He counsels U.S. and foreign airlines on aviation regulatory and policy matters before several federal agencies and handles all phases of the airline start-up process.

Emmerich also serves as Co-Member-In-Charge of the Philadelphia office, where he focuses his practice in complex commercial litigation, specifically in matters involving trade secrets and unfair competition, restrictive covenants, and intellectual property.

Rogin is based in the Wilmington office, where she concentrates on corporate and commercial litigation and professional liability, including matters involving business disputes, professional negligence, breach of contract, business torts, financial services, fraud, and medical product liability.

Longosz is based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, where he maintains a local and national practice focused on complex civil litigation, including business torts, class actions, the defense of toxic torts, product liability, and professional malpractice D&O matters.
