Mark T. Vogelbacker

Overview

Mark Vogelbacker is an intellectual property lawyer with a focus on patent and trademark procurement in the U.S. and abroad.  Mark also advises clients on intellectual property licensing, enforcement, and infringement clearance, including trademark, copyright, and domain name disputes, as well as Inter Partes Review proceedings.

Mark’s technical background is in the mechanical and electro-mechanical arts, including medical equipment, consumer goods, power systems, software, and business methods.  Mark’s litigation experience includes patent, trademark, and copyright disputes covering a range of technologies and industries, including automobiles, medical devices, optical measurement devices, and apparel.

Mark is a former patent examiner and draws on that experience to develop efficient and effective strategies to deal with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He began his career as a fluid systems engineer at General Dynamics. As an engineer, Mark helped design and implement alterations on Ohio class nuclear-powered submarines.
