Cessar, Chief Executive Officer of Eckert Seamans. “We are extremely grateful to Peter Carr, Marc Stein, and Ed Longosz for their excellent service in these roles, and we look forward to their continued leadership at the firm.”

Robert Levy provides business and litigation counseling to clients and serves as outside general counsel managing the legal affairs of major firm clients. In addition, he represents clients in all aspects of real estate transactions, including permitting, acquisition, financing, construction, leasing, disposition, and real estate related litigation. Levy is also experienced in litigating employment related disputes including post-employment restrictions. He formerly chaired the firm’s Real Estate and Land Use practice group and is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors.

Gabriel Dym has significant first chair experience in all phases of complex litigation. He represents corporate and individual clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative proceedings, and at arbitration and mediation. Dym also represents and counsels businesses in state and federal government investigations, including those conducted by a number of federal and state agencies. In addition, he serves as outside general counsel to multiple firm clients, providing both business and litigation counseling. In his new role as Vice-Member-In-Charge, Dym will focus on recruitment efforts for the firm’s Boston office.

Frank Emmerich focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, specifically in matters involving trade secrets and unfair competition, restrictive covenants, and intellectual property. He has also developed an extensive injunctive practice, frequently appearing in federal and state courts. Emmerich’s emphasis on early strategic development of a case and experience in implementing it in the courtroom is sought by large companies, nonprofits, entrepreneurs, and individuals facing complex commercial concerns.

Amy Snyder has decades of experience working with public and private employers on a wide range of traditional labor and employment law matters. She represents clients in charges before federal, state, and local administrative agencies and federal and state court litigation. She also represents employers in collective bargaining negotiations and grievance arbitrations. Snyder serves as Co-Chair of the Women’s Initiative at Eckert (WIE), working with colleagues to develop programs that support an inclusive environment for women at the firm and highlight their contributions and successes.
