Eckert Seamans Appoints Board of Directors Through 2026

Following national law firm Eckert Seamans’ April 2023 Board of Directors meeting, the firm has appointed eight attorneys to serve on the firm’s Board through the 2026 term. The full Board of Directors consists of 24 members from across the firm and will be led by Tim Hudak as the newly appointed Chair of the Board of Directors.

“I am looking forward to working closely with the incumbent and newly appointed Board members to advance the goals of Eckert Seamans,” said Hudak. “Each member has distinct qualities that make for a genuine director to guide and propel our firm forward in the coming years.”

The Members selected to serve on the Board of Directors through 2026 include:

Dorothy (Dot) Davis serves as Chair of the firm’s Financial Services Litigation practice and previously served as co-CEO of Eckert Seamans. She concentrates her practice on commercial, business, and real estate transactions and litigation in both individual cases and class actions.

Clare Gallagher is a member of the newly appointed Executive Committee for the 2023-24 term and the Co-Chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice. She concentrates her practice on traditional labor law, employment law, and litigation, counseling her clients on a variety of labor and employment issues. 

Steve Kramer serves as Member-In-Charge of the firm’s White Plains office. He is regional and national trial counsel for Fortune 100 companies in class action, multidistrict, and single-party litigation. He focuses on product liability, food-borne illness, pollution and toxic tort, and commercial litigation.

Phil Levy is Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice. He helps clients protect their valuable intellectual property assets by preparing and prosecuting patent, trademark, and copyright applications, both domestically and abroad. He advises clients on intellectual property and technology-related disputes, infringement and right to use issues, and technology-related transactional and due diligence matters.

Ed Longosz is Member-In-Charge of the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. He has a local and nationwide practice with a broad range of experience in complex civil litigation. Longosz’s practice includes business torts, class actions, the defense of toxic torts, product liability, and professional malpractice D&O matters.

Michael Miller serves as Member-In-Charge of the firm’s Harrisburg office. He concentrates his practice exclusively on management-side employment and labor law, including employment and labor-related litigation before a variety of state and federal courts.

Evelyn Sahr is a member of the newly appointed Executive Committee for the 2023-24 term and is Chair of the firm’s Aviation group. She focuses her practice on regulatory, commercial, and legislative regulatory matters impacting U.S. and foreign airlines. Sahr regularly represents foreign and domestic airlines before several federal agencies and also serves on the Governing Committee of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Air & Space Law.
