Before joining Eckert Seamans, Noland served in senior leadership roles within the Intellectual Property practice and as the US Region Sector Leader for Life Sciences & Healthcare at the world’s largest global law firm. He also served as Vice President and Chief Patent Counsel at Bayer MaterialScience LLC, where he was responsible for the Patents and Licensing Department and provided intellectual property counseling services to the company’s business and service units. Before becoming Chief Patent Counsel, Noland also served as a corporate lawyer, providing business transactional and antitrust counseling to the company’s business and service units.

Noland’s unique blend of business and legal experience has proven invaluable in negotiating various intellectual property licensing agreements, including those involving mergers and acquisitions.
