Overview

Jay Julien focuses his practice on corporate matters including aviation, securities regulations, mergers and acquisitions, fund formation, and business counseling.

Jay advises aviation clients in a wide variety of business and regulatory matters. Jay assists emerging airlines and a broad range of aviation and transportation industry clients on corporate matters and regulatory and compliance issues before DOT, FAA, TSA, CBP and USDA. Jay is also involved in the Infrastructure Practice Group where he is heavily involved in federal/state grant research and writing as well as alternative energy funding and installation.

At the Howard University School of Law, Jay completed an externship at the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Student Honors Intern in the EDGAR Business Office. During his legal studies, Jay participated in the Investor Justice and Education Clinic where he successfully helped clients navigate disputes involving complex securities transactions. Jay has extensive experience in full lifecycle legal and IT recruiting, granting him insight into various industries including pharmaceutical development, telecommunications, supply chain logistics, food science, as well providing him with a deep understanding of internal corporate structures. Prior to attending law school, Jay worked as a paralegal for the New York Law Department where he provided support for civil litigation cases in federal district court.
