Eckert Seamans Public Finance Practice Ranked Among 2022 Top Bond Counsel by The Bond Buyer

National law firm Eckert Seamans’ Public Finance practice has been ranked among the top bond counsel in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in The Bond Buyer’s 2022 year end review. The firm was ranked No. 1 among top bond counsel in Pennsylvania, with transactions totaling $1.7 billion and No. 5 in New Jersey, with transactions totaling $581.1 million. The rankings are based on data compiled by Refinitiv.

Eckert Seamans’ Public Finance group maintains a multistate practice, serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, underwriter’s counsel, bank counsel, borrower’s counsel, trustee’s counsel, and tax counsel. Attorneys in the practice are fully conversant with the state and federal laws applicable to the issuance of any public debt, the federal tax law provisions that may be applicable in any issuance, and applicable federal and state securities laws. In addition, the group drafts legislation for debt and finance matters for state and local governments and represents debtors and creditors in bankruptcies and workouts for debtors who are obligors on tax-exempt bonds.
