Eckert Seamans Public Finance Practice Named as Top Bond Counsel in Pennsylvania by The Bond Buyer

The Public Finance practice group at national law firm Eckert Seamans has been ranked as the top bond counsel in Pennsylvania in The Bond Buyer’s 2025 midyear review. The firm was ranked No. 1 among bond counsel in the state, with transactions totaling $1.5 billion.

Eckert Seamans’ Public Finance group maintains a multistate practice, serving as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, underwriter’s counsel, bank counsel, borrower’s counsel, trustee’s counsel, and tax counsel. Attorneys in the practice are fully conversant with the state and federal laws applicable to the issuance of any public debt, the federal tax law provisions that may be applicable in any issuance, and applicable federal and state securities laws. In addition, the group drafts legislation for debt and finance matters for state and local governments and represents debtors and creditors in bankruptcies and workouts for debtors who are obligors on tax-exempt bonds.
