Eckert Seamans Of Counsel Jack McGinley Named Recipient of Allegheny County Bar Foundation’s 2026 Presidential Merit Award

National law firm Eckert Seamans is pleased to congratulate Of Counsel Jack McGinley on being named the recipient of The Allegheny County Bar Foundation’s (ACBF) 2026 Presidential Merit Award. The award recognizes McGinley’s decades of leadership, service, philanthropy, and dedication to the Foundation, the legal profession, and the greater Pittsburgh community.
McGinley has played a significant role in advancing the ACBF’s mission for more than two decades, including serving for 22 years on the ACBF’s Lawyers’ Fund Committee, which helps provide critical assistance to attorneys, law students, and their families. He also led the Foundation’s Attorneys Against Hunger Campaign, coordinating its Challenge Grant with the support of his family, Eckert Seamans, and the Rita M. McGinley Foundation.
“Jack exemplifies the highest ideals of the legal profession through his integrity, leadership, and longstanding commitment to community service,” said Scott Cessar, Chief Executive Officer of Eckert Seamans. “His work with the Allegheny County Bar Foundation and numerous charitable initiatives has improved the lives of many throughout our region. We congratulate Jack on this well-earned recognition.”
McGinley is a trial attorney with more than 45 years of experience concentrating his practice on corporate, business, real estate, and professional liability matters. He previously served as Chair of Eckert Seamans’ Board of Directors. Additionally, McGinley has served in the public sector as an assistant district attorney of Allegheny County, and co-founded Grogan, Graffam, McGinley & Lucchino, P.C. before joining Eckert Seamans in 2002.
He will receive the award at the ACBF’s Fall Foundation Reception on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Hotel Monaco in Pittsburgh.
