April 14, 2025
National law firm Eckert Seamans has welcomed Jason E. Harness as an Associate in the Mass Tort Litigation practice group. He joins Eckert Seamans’ Princeton office from Kasowitz Benson Torres, LLP.
Harness represents clients in asbestos and other chemical-related litigation matters in state and federal courts. He has experience representing clients in various phases of trial, including pre-trial conferences, exhibit preparation, document productions, discovery responses, drafting motions for summary judgment and summary adjudication, and conducting cross-examinations in depositions. He holds a J.D. from the University of Louisville School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Louisville.
Harness is the latest addition to the firm’s growing Princeton office, following the earlier arrivals of commercial litigators Michael Posavetz and Anthony D’Elia to the office this year.
Attorneys in Eckert Seamans’ Mass Tort Litigation practice group are experienced in the defense of mass tort lawsuits arising from environmental and occupational exposure to chemicals and other substances. The practice group has served as national coordinating counsel for the defense of claims involving asbestos-containing products and other toxic substances, lead trial counsel in single and multiple-plaintiff cases, and joint defense counsel for multiple defendants.
