Overview

Tyler Myers focuses his practice on aviation regulatory matters impacting domestic and foreign airlines. He regularly assists clients with regulatory compliance and advises airlines on policy matters before federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. When foreign airlines are looking to enter the U.S. marketplace, Tyler assists with the launch of U.S. service by obtaining permit, exemption, and other regulatory authority prior to commencing service. Tyler also counsels on passenger complaints, consumer protection rulemaking, and antitrust matters relating to airlines.

In addition to representing airlines, Tyler provides federal grant advice to counties and municipalities. He assists clients with drafting grant applications and navigating regulatory requirements to secure federal funding across infrastructure asset classes, including transportation, energy, and cybersecurity.

While in law school, Tyler interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for Commissioner Hester M. Peirce. He also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Eleni M. Roumel of the United States Court of Federal Claims.

Tyler enjoys visiting his family on Hilton Head Island, SC and plays golf whenever possible. He also appreciates vintage posters and can often be found exploring art museums.
