Overview

Courtney Richards concentrates her practice on mass tort litigation matters including asbestos and product liability. Her experience encompasses various phases of litigation and trial preparation, including discovery and motion practice.

Prior to joining the firm, Courtney worked as an employment law attorney for Foley & Foley, PC. In this role she advised businesses large and small on matters relating to ADA, FMLA, FLSA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, USERRA, and OSHA Regulation with an eye toward both state and federal legal compliance / risk management.

During law school she served as an intern for the United States Attorney’s Office in the District of Massachusetts and as a judicial intern at Cambridge District Court. She also worked as a law student advocate with Veterans Legal Services and as a civil litigation paralegal at Melick & Porter, LLP. Prior to attending law school Courtney served on active duty in the United States Army and as a Special
Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
