Overview

Constantine Politis focuses his practice in the area of commercial litigation including complex contractual disputes, labor and employment, and class action defense.

Prior to joining private practice, Constantine served as a law clerk for the Honorable David E. Johnson in the 12th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia and a judicial intern to the Honorable Henry E. Hudson of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.  He also interned in the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia and for Chief Judge George Varoutsos of the Arlington juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court.

Representative Matters

  • Represented local business in case alleging business negligently repaired a commercial vehicle, and successfully argued that the Plaintiff’s claim for loss of business was barred by Virginia’s economic loss doctrine leading to dismissal of claim.  
  • Represented homeowners in defense of a claim that homeowners breached an automatically renewing contract, secured defense judgment at trial.
  • Represented Florida based corporation in defense of a contract claim brought by consumer, received defense judgment at trial.

Interests

Constantine enjoys working out, travelling, and listening to history podcasts. A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Constantine is a passionate fan of Pittsburgh’s professional sport teams.
