Krese brings 20+ Years of Combined Business, Financial and Legal Experience

Eckert Seamans has named Kevin Krese its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

A CFA Charterholder, Krese brings a wealth of financial experience, most recently as CFO and Chief Operating Officer for Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLC, where he led growth and operational efficiencies across all departments. Under his guidance, the firm benefited from improved profitability and reduction in operating expense.

As CFO, Krese will direct all aspects of the firm’s financial operations and serve as a key business advisor to firm leadership. Krese will oversee a team of professionals, including those whose roles focus on financial planning and analysis, reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, financial risk management, financial systems, budgeting, and billing and collections.

“After a thorough search, we are excited to strengthen our leadership team with a knowledgeable and tenured professional like Kevin who is highly-regarded in both the legal and financial fields,” said Timothy Hudak, Chief Executive Officer. “His strategic finance and operations experience should nicely complement the firm’s focus on long-term growth.”

Krese earned his M.S. in Accountancy from The University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce and his B.S. in Finance from The University of Dayton.

Krese succeeds the legacy of David Federline, the firm’s previous CFO of more than 20 years who passed away on December 31, 2021. Federline was instrumental in formulating and implementing policies and procedures that continue to advance the firm’s financial strategy.
