Eckert Seamans welcomes Robert Weller to Boston office

Eckert Seamans welcomes new member Robert Weller to its Boston office and Mass Tort Litigation group. Weller focuses primarily on the defense of asbestos-related toxic tort and products liability actions for clients nationally and in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Weller was a member of the National Coordinating Counsel Team in complex toxic tort products liability litigation for a major asbestos defendant and was directly responsible for overseeing and directing defense strategies throughout the country. He also represented many clients in asbestos litigation on a local basis. Weller’s representative experience spans Navy, commercial/industrial, and residential-based asbestos claims.
Weller also served the legal interests of a diverse client base in matters ranging from business and contractual disputes to bicycle accidents, incidents resulting in traumatic brain injuries, automobile claims, various other personal injuries, and insurance defense matters.
Weller earned his J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law in 2008 and his B.A. from Wesleyan University in 2004. He graduated from Milton Academy in 2000.
