Robert G. Weller

Overview

Robert Weller focuses primarily on the defense of asbestos-related toxic tort and products liability actions for clients nationally as well as locally in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Robert was a member of the National Coordinating Counsel Team in complex toxic tort products liability litigation for a major asbestos defendant and was directly responsible for overseeing and directing defense strategies throughout the country.  He also represented many clients in asbestos litigation on a local basis.  Robert’s representative experience spans Navy, commercial/industrial, and residential-based asbestos claims.

Outside of the asbestos context, Robert has served the legal interests of a diverse client base in matters ranging from business and contractual disputes to bicycle accidents, incidents resulting in traumatic brain injuries, automobile claims, various other personal injuries, and insurance defense matters.
