Eckert Seamans Welcomes 16 Summer Associates Across Firm Platform

June 5, 2023

National law firm Eckert Seamans will welcome 16 summer associates across six offices, including Boston, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington, D.C., and Wilmington. This 2023 class includes students from across the United States and is the largest and most diverse summer class in firm history.

“We are excited to welcome this outstanding class of summer associates to our firm,” said Michael J. O’Brien, Member and Summer Associates Program Chair. “We are training the next generation of lawyers and we take that responsibility seriously. Our summer associates are fully immersed in our day-to-day practice and will work on meaningful and substantive legal assignments. Of course, we will also have a lot of fun.”

Eckert Seamans’ summer program provides law students the opportunity to apply their legal education in a real world setting and encourages students to explore assignments within multiple practice groups, including commercial litigation, corporate counseling and governance, real estate, mass tort and product liability, intellectual property, labor and employment, and construction. The firm’s summer program also provides students with pro bono opportunities and encourages participation in civic and community affairs. Students in this year’s program will work closely with Eckert Seamans Members, Associates, and Administrative Professionals to further the firm’s goal of providing clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel.
