Eckert Seamans Member LaToya Winfield Bellamy Named Co-Chair of Pennsylvania Bar Association Minority Bar Committee

LaToya Winfield Bellamy, a Harrisburg-based Member at national law firm Eckert Seamans has been named co-chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Minority Bar Committee for the 2023-2024 term.  The Minority Bar Committee develops programs to address the issues and concerns of minority lawyers and works to promote minority representation with the Bar and the profession, as well as studies, reviews, and makes recommendations on legislation impacting minority citizens in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Bellamy provides business counseling, as well as municipal and administrative law-related services. She has a wide range of experience advising a variety of clients, including businesses, contractors, educational institutions, gaming industry entities, and municipal governments. Additionally, she advises on contracting, government regulatory issues, real estate, and other related matters.

Bellamy is a Committee Member of Eckert Seamans’ Inclusion Council and Chair of the Circle Mentoring program at the firm. In addition to her position with the PBA, she also serves as a board member of the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority and AKA Foundation of Central Pennsylvania; as a Dean’s Diversity Advisory Board Member at Widener Law Commonwealth; and as Chair of the Equal Professional Opportunity Committee of the Dauphin County Bar Association.
