Eckert Seamans Member Duffy Myrtetus Named Co-Chair of Florida Bar’s Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence Tools & Resources

Duffy Myrtetus, a Richmond-based Member with national law firm Eckert Seamans, has been named Co-Chair of the Florida Bar Board of Governor’s Special Committee on Artificial Intelligence Tools & Resources. The Committee’s mission is to recommend to the Board of Governors actions and AI tools to assure the proper and effective use and adoption of artificial intelligence to further the purpose of service to lawyers and the public; how AI interacts with the Bar’s current rules; how it may change various aspects of the practice of law; and, how it may improve access to justice.

Myrtetus maintains a diverse law practice in Florida and Virginia, focused on business transactions, real estate, and commercial litigation matters. His clients include institutional lenders and investors, real estate investment trusts, developers, loan servicers, property managers, underwriters, brokers, and other stakeholders in matters related to planning, entitlement, development, financing, mortgage banking, title claims, loan workouts, foreclosures, receiverships, and related transactions and litigation. Myrtetus also currently serves as a member of the Florida Bar’s Board of Governors.
