Eckert Seamans Hospitality Chair Jay Blount Named to Hotel & Lodging Legal Summit Advisory Board

Jay T. Blount, a Member with national law firm Eckert Seamans and Chair of the firm’s Hospitality practice group, has been named to the Advisory Board for the 11th Annual Hotel & Lodging Legal Summit, hosted by Georgetown Law in October 2024. The Summit brings together lawyers and professionals from throughout North America and abroad to discuss the most pressing legal matters in the industry.
Over the years, Blount has worked on a broad range of hospitality matters across the United States and on a global basis. He has extensive experience representing owners, developers, investors, and managers of hotels, resorts, food and beverage venues, and mixed-use projects. Blount regularly represents parties in negotiating hotel brand management and joint venture agreements. He also regularly represents buyers and sellers of hotels and resorts, including through debt acquisitions and restructurings.
