National law firm Eckert Seamans has elected Member Gabriel T. Dym to its Board of Directors for a term extending through 2028.

Dym is based in the firm’s Boston office, where he serves as Vice-Member-In-Charge and Co-Chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice group. The firm’s 24-member Board of Directors is comprised of representatives from offices across the country and is led by Member Dorothy (Dot) Davis, Chair of the Board.

“Gabe is a highly respected litigator, trusted advisor, and accomplished leader whose dedication to client service and firm growth has made a lasting impact across Eckert Seamans,” said Davis. “His strategic perspective, collaborative approach, and deep understanding of our clients’ needs will be invaluable as the Board continues to guide the firm’s future. We are pleased to welcome him to this important leadership role.”

Dym represents corporate and individual clients in state and federal trial and appellate courts, administrative proceedings, and at arbitration and mediation. He counsels businesses in state and federal government investigations, including those conducted by the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and the U.S. Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division, among several others.

In addition to his litigation practice, Dym represents business and individual clients on a broad array of transactional and operational issues, including those in connection with hiring, discipline, terminations and workforce reductions, compliance, the creation of workplace policies, procedures and manuals, and in various contractual and licensing matters.

A recognized leader in his field, Dym has been consistently honored for his work in commercial litigation, including recognition by The Legal 500’s Boston City Elite and Massachusetts Super Lawyers.

“I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors and grateful for the confidence my colleagues have placed in me,” said Dym. “Eckert Seamans has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional legal counsel and fostering a collaborative culture. I look forward to working alongside the Board and firm leadership to support our clients, our colleagues, and the continued success of the firm.”
