The national law firm of Eckert Seamans has been recognized by U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” 2020 for 70 national and metropolitan practices across three tiers. Based on a combination of client surveys, peer interviews, and editorial research, Eckert Seamans earned National Tier 1 honors for its Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Defendants, Public Finance Law, and Trademark Law practices.

Eckert Seamans’ Mass Tort Litigation Group, co-chaired by Dennis R. McEwen and Mark L. The firm’s lead counsel experience has encompassed cases tried to verdict and appeals in state and federal courts throughout the United States.

Eckert Seamans’ Public Finance Group, led by Chair Marc S. Stein, is experienced in representing issuers, underwriters, lenders, trustees and investors in structuring, analyzing and evaluating the legal bases for public and private debt offerings by state and local units of government. Eckert Seamans has been listed in The Bond Buyers Municipal Marketplace® since 1985. In 2018, Eckert Seamans’ Public Finance Group represented clients in tax exempt and taxable debt financings totaling $4,291,680,493 in aggregate principal amount.

Eckert Seamans’ trademark law practice is part of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group, which is nationally ranked by Chambers USA, a leading independent guide to legal services.
