New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy reaffirmed his commitment to the goal of 100% clean energy usage by 2050 by signing two pieces of legislation fostering the increased use of plug-in electric vehicles and the development of supporting infrastructure. Eckert Seamans’ Michael Butler contributed an article to Dimensions Magazine, published by the New Jersey Builders Association, to provide further insight on the legislation, which directly impacts the building industry by encouraging the installation and use of electric vehicle charging stations in new developments and existing communities.
