Overview

Sophia Soifer brings experience assisting clients with a variety of civil litigation matters, including employment, insurance defense, contract disputes, and property disputes. She also has advised tax-exempt and nonprofit organizations on governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Sophia earned her law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School, where she served as President of the Appellate Advocacy Honor Society and Executive Vice President of the Student Bar Association. She graduated on the Dean’s List and was recognized with a CALI Award for Legal Methods II. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University, graduating on the Dean’s List with minors in Ethics and Psychology.

During law school, Sophia gained valuable experience through judicial externships with U.S. Magistrate Judge Susan E. Schwab in the Middle District of Pennsylvania and legal internships with the Pennsylvania Office of Administration, Office of Chief Counsel, and the Department of Human Services Office of General Counsel.

Interests

As a third-generation Penn State graduate, Sophia is a lifelong and avid Penn State fan. She also enjoys playing volleyball with friends, spending time with her friends, and relaxing at the lake.
