Overview
Benjamin Mantica is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Group, where he assists clients on a broad range of financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. Ben also advises on matters related to corporate governance and provides ongoing business counseling to clients across a wide range of industries. He rejoined Eckert Seamans after earning his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business.
Ben also focuses on public and municipal finance matters, assisting the Firm’s Public Finance Group as bond counsel in municipal financings. Ben has experience representing various counties, cities, townships, boroughs, school districts and municipal authorities in a wide range of matters, including transactions that span the Commonwealth.
Before attending law school, Ben co-founded a Pittsburgh-based food hall development and management company that successfully launched and operated six venues across the Midwest. As Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, he led the development of each location and was instrumental in driving the company’s growth.
Ben is a veteran of the United States Navy. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he was commissioned as an Ensign and served as the Gunnery Officer aboard USS Sterett and as the Visit, Board, Search, and Seizure Officer aboard USS Harpers Ferry.

Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, their three children, and their English bulldog. When he is not at a youth sporting event or tracking down one of his toddler boys, Ben is an avid squash and tennis player. Originally from Sewickley, Pa, Ben is thrilled to be back in Western Pennsylvania after being stationed in San Diego, California.
