Eckert Seamans Special Counsel Laura DelFratte Accepted to Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute

PITTSBURGH (July 31, 2024) – Laura DelFratte, Special Counsel with national law firm Eckert Seamans, has been accepted into Class IV of the Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute (MAFI). The MAFI was created by the Fellows of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel to develop the profession’s future leaders through a series of in-depth educational presentations led by outstanding subject matter experts in each field. Participants who successfully complete three, two-day sessions of the program are then formally recognized as Graduates of the Institute.
DelFratte focuses her practice in the areas of tax and estate law. She is skilled in the preparation and review of complex tax returns for estates, trusts, businesses, and individuals. DelFratte also has significant experience in business valuation, the administration of estates, and drafting estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, insurance trusts, durable and springing powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, and living wills. She also prepares, analyzes, and provides guidance to clients on corporate documents.
DelFratte earned a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, an M.B.A from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, and a B.S. from The Pennsylvania State University. She also serves as Chair of the Public Outreach Committee of the Probate and Trust Law Section for the Allegheny County Bar Association.
