Law360 covered the amicus brief filed by Eckert Seamans’ Casey Coyle and Peter Hoffman (on behalf of more than a dozen national, state, and regional organizations, as well as several large health care systems), urging the Pennsylvania Superior Court to grant an en banc rehearing after a two-judge panel’s decision threatens a decade-old understanding that the state’s Fair Share Act barred defendants from being put on the hook for the entirety of a damages award in multiple-defendant negligence cases.
