Maps of Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Grower/Processors and Dispensaries Show Dispersion Across Commonwealth

The Pennsylvania Department of Health (“Department” or “PA DOH”) recently released this map of approved dispensaries where medical marijuana will soon be available. The front-runner in the race to open is Cresco Yeltrah’s Butler County location which is expected to open on February 15, 2018. The map identifies five other locations where medical marijuana will be available in the next couple of days, as reported in this PA DOH press release. The Department encourages patients to contact a dispensary directly before visiting to determine if an appointment is necessary.
All successful dispensary applicants’ proposed locations, in addition to those locations identified by PA DOH where medical marijuana will soon be available, are shown on this map. Some successful dispensary applicants received PA DOH approval to relocate a proposed dispensary. This map reflects that Franklin Bioscience – Penn, LLC and Terra Vida Holistic Centers LLC will not open facilities initially proposed to be located at 3225 N. 5th Street Highway in Reading and the 8500 block of Stenton Avenue in Philadelphia. The map does not reflect the organization’s newly proposed locations, as those addresses were not readily available. Other organizations may have requested and received approval to relocate a dispensary.
This map shows the 12 grower/processor facilities in the state which provide or, once authorized, will supply the dispensaries with medical marijuana products. Phase II of the Commonwealth’s Medical Marijuana Program is anticipated to open in 2018 and is expected to result in additional dispensary and grower/processor facilities.
