Spotlight on . . . Tony Bush

Tony Bush joined our Princeton office in April 2013. He grew up in Westfield, New Jersey, and today lives in Yardley, Pennsylvania, with his wife Heidi, whom he met – but did not start dating – in college. Together, they have two sons, Zack and Drew, both of whom are in college, and a dog named Zoey that they consider to be their third child. His family enjoys spending a lot of time together. They can often be found watching or attending pro and college sporting events together.

Tony has more than two decades of commercial litigation and regulatory experience with an emphasis on issues impacting the automotive industry. His clients include operators of wholesale motor vehicle auctions, auto dealerships, wholesale auto parts distributors, finance companies, and auto body repair facilities. Tony has expertise in representing clients in corporate and consumer litigation, land use matters, business counseling, employment matters, and franchise disputes, before the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission and New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of Consumer Affairs, and in legislative and regulatory issues affecting the automotive industry

Q&A

What led you to pursue a career in law?

I admired a federal mediator that was able to resolve MLB and NFL labor disputes. It seemed like an obvious choice once it was clear that engineering was not in my future.

What do you enjoy most about your practice?

Listening to clients, learning about their businesses and helping them solve their problems. Also, the variety of the work.

What is one of your hidden talents?

Obscure voice impressions.

Who is a fictional hero you admire?

Bond, James Bond.

What is a movie that you can watch over and over again?

I can watch movies over and over again- which drives my family a little nuts. At the top of the list is Animal House.
