Pennsylvania’s 2014 Energy Plan

February 6, 2014

The Governor’s Office released its “State Energy Plan,” which tells the story of the diversity and strength of Pennsylvania’s vast energy portfolio.  Notably, Pennsylvania is:

  •  2nd in the nation for electricity generation
  • 2nd in the nation for nuclear generation
  • 2nd in the nation for natural gas production
  • 4th in the nation in coal production and the only producer of high-heat value anthracite coal.

The Plan is meant to be a guide for business decision makers to lay out the advantages of doing business in Pennsylvania, and highlights plans to expand Pennsylvania’s energy economy for the future.
