Overview
Valerie Ramos will serve as an associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group, pending her admission to the Pennsylvania Bar. She joins Eckert Seamans following her experience serving the firm as a summer associate in 2022.
Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, Valerie served as a victim/witness coordinator in the Philadelphia District Attorneys office, where she provided assistance to victims of crime, including court notifications, accompaniment, requesting restitution, post-conviction notifications, pre-trial offers and overall victim’s rights awareness. Valerie also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Richard A. Lloret for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. During Valerie’s time as an intern, she worked on reports and recommendations for post-conviction habeas corpus motions.
Awards and Recognition:
- Hunter Moot Court Semi-Finalist at Rutgers Law School Camden and was awarded Best Brief for 2021.
