Overview
Sabrine L. Tribié represents corporate and individual clients in commercial litigation and civil disputes in federal and state courts, including breach of contract, business torts, and securities litigation. Sabrine has significant experience developing litigation strategies, managing e-discovery, and handling motion practice in high-stakes cases.
Before joining Eckert Seamans, Sabrine served as a litigation associate at two separate law firms in New York, where she represented clients in complex commercial litigation, breach of contract, fraud, product liability, securities litigation and enforcement, ex parte foreign discovery, and other civil litigation matters. She also completed two secondments with JPMorgan Chase & Co., during which she advised the Consumer Banking departments on high-stakes legal issues related to third-party subpoenas for financial records, asset-based court orders, and seizure warrants, and prepared Chase employees subpoenaed in court proceedings to authenticate financial records and provide factual testimony.
Representative Matters
- Lead attorney handling pre-trial motion practice in federal and state securities fraud litigation involving $100 million investment.
- Successfully obtained dismissal of state court action against pharmaceutical manufacturer involved in national opioid litigation.
- Represented specialty chemicals company in breach of contract and fraud action against multinational technology corporation.
- Successfully vacated federal court orders granting discovery and quashed subpoenas served on several U.S. limited liability companies, as co-counsel in ex parte foreign discovery proceedings involving Brazilian inheritance dispute.
- Drafted pro bono amicus brief challenging admission of DNA evidence tested through discredited methods in support of successful appeal to New York State Court of Appeals, and received 2019 Pro Bono Publico Award from The Legal Aid Society in recognition.

Interests
Sabrine has a long-standing passion for boxing, which she first started 20 years ago, after earning a black belt in Shaolin Kempo Karate. She loves spending time with her dog Melo, who has been successfully battling and thriving with congestive heart failure for about 2 years.
