Robert L. Brown

Overview

Robert Brown concentrates his practice on general litigation, mass tort litigation and product liability matters with an emphasis on the discovery of electronically stored information (ESI), otherwise known as electronic discovery or e-discovery.  He has 14 years of experience representing small, medium and large corporations in the preservation, collection, review, and production of electronic evidence in state and federal courts including federal multidistrict litigation and state court consolidated/mass tort actions.

Robert is responsible for the implementation and management of English and German document production projects involving physical and electronic documents in matters including commercial litigation, products liability disputes, toxic tort, patent infringement, class action litigation, construction law, and government investigations.  Robert’s engagements typically involve identifying the best process for preservation, collection, and document review; establishing review protocols and a quality control process for the document review; creating a sufficient and defensible privilege log, preparing documents for production and coordinating document productions with database vendors.  Robert also works directly with litigation teams identifying key documents and materials for use in witness preparation, settlement negotiations and trial.
