Overview
Emily Williams focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, advising clients in matters involving business disputes, personal injury, institutional liability, and breach of contract claims. She represents a diverse range of clients on both the defense and plaintiff sides, including institutions facing negligent liability claims, nonprofit organizations, large corporations, and individual shareholders. Emily has represented clients in Pennsylvania state court and federal courts and has supported matters through key phases of litigation, including initial pleadings, pre-trial discovery, motion practice, and dispositive and non-dispositive briefing.
Emily joined Eckert Seamans after serving as a summer associate in 2022 and 2023. Before law school, she worked as a legal assistant for a boutique nonprofit law firm, experience that continues to inform her client service and litigation practice.
