Vanessa Erickson Joins Eckert Seamans as Boston-based Mass Tort Litigation Associate

National law firm Eckert Seamans has welcomed Vanessa Erickson as an Associate in the firm’s Mass Tort Litigation practice group. She joins Eckert Seamans’ Boston office from Morrison Mahoney LLP.
Erickson has experience handling litigation matters varying from complex commercial litigation to general liability cases from pre-suit through trial. She represents insurers and their insureds through litigation reports and communications with claims representatives. Erickson also conducts and defends depositions for plaintiff, defense, and non-party fact witnesses. She holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.A. from Stony Brook University.
Attorneys in Eckert Seamans’ Mass Tort Litigation practice group are experienced in the defense of mass tort lawsuits arising from environmental and occupational exposure to chemicals and other substances. The practice group has served as national coordinating counsel for the defense of claims involving asbestos-containing products and other toxic substances, lead trial counsel in single and multiple-plaintiff cases, and joint defense counsel for multiple defendants.
