November 8, 2024

Laura Fein recently addressed the Louis D. Brandeis Law Society, a prestigious Philadelphia-based organization of several hundred lawyers and judges, about her groundbreaking initiative addressing antisemitism at Harvard University.

As a Harvard Hillel Board member and founding Vice President of the Harvard Jewish Alumni Association, Laura spearheaded a landmark conference that drew 1,000 participants, including alumni, students, and administrators from across the United States, Israel, and Europe. The event, which emerged from Laura’s deep concern about rising antisemitism both nationally and at Harvard, featured distinguished speakers and included a powerful exhibit documenting the October 7 atrocities. University administrators who attended acknowledged gaining new insight into antisemitism’s impact on the Jewish community.

In her presentation to the Brandeis Law Society, Laura shared her journey from conception to execution of this significant gathering, detailing the challenges she overcame to bring this crucial conversation to Harvard’s campus.
