Eckert Seamans Welcomes Nicholas Schneider

Eckert Seamans is pleased to welcome Nicholas J. Schneider to the firm’s Boston office. He helps individuals and businesses fight threats to their bottom lines, focusing his practice on complex commercial disputes, protecting his clients’ interests, both inside and outside the courtroom. Schneider has experience representing clients of all sizes, from individuals to Fortune 500 companies, in state and federal trial and appellate courts, arbitrations, and mediations.

Schneider litigates matters involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, employment disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, copyright infringement, unfair competition, real estate disputes, class actions, and other commercial disputes. He handles these often high-stakes matters through all stages of litigation, from seeking emergency injunctive relief through trial and beyond. Schneider also counsels clients with creative, strategic, and practical solutions to safeguard their marketplace advantages.

During law school, Schneider gained significant legal experience as a law clerk in the Senior Trial Unit of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and as a student attorney for D.C. Law Students in Court, a nonprofit organization that represents tenants in D.C. Landlord and Tenant Court.

Active in the profession, Schneider is a member of the Massachusetts Innovation and Technology Exchange, Massachusetts Bar Association, and New England Business Association. In the community, he serves as an Executive Committee Member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts Young Professionals Group.

Schneider joins from Bernkopf Goodman LLP and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. He earned his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center (2013) and an undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Northeastern University (2009).
