Launched in May 2025 with an 11-lawyer team led by Member-In-Charge Edward P. Abbot, the firm’s New York City office has quickly become an integral part of Eckert Seamans’ national platform. Over the past year, the office has strengthened the firm’s already nationally recognized Mass Tort Litigation practice, while also supporting a broad range of matters involving product liability, commercial litigation, construction, labor & employment, insurance coverage litigation, and professional liability.
Based in Manhattan, the New York City team continues to work seamlessly with colleagues across Eckert Seamans’ national footprint, representing clients in high-stakes, complex litigation across multiple jurisdictions. The office’s growth has further enhanced the firm’s ability to serve clients with national and regional litigation needs, particularly in mass tort and product liability matters pending in New York courts.
