Eckert Seamans Mourns David C. Jenkins

David C. Jenkins, a member of Eckert Seamans’ Intellectual Property Group, passed away on November 15, 2019, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

“We are shocked and saddened by Dave’s passing,” said firm CEO Timothy Q. Hudak. “Eckert Seamans has lost a dear friend and gifted colleague.”

Mr. Jenkins joined Eckert Seamans in 1999, and served as a valued member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. He focused his practice in the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications for mechanical and electronic arts, infringement and validity studies, domain name issues and disputes, assistance with patent litigation, and trademark and copyright matters. Before attending law school, he participated in over 25 space shuttle launches during his three-year tenure at the Kennedy Space Center. Mr. Jenkins was also a dedicated volunteer mentor in the firm’s Reading is FUNdamental program.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife Rebecca Glaser and children Nina Gettemy and Anton Bubolz.
