Eckert Seamans Member Michael McAuliffe Miller Named to Central Penn Business Journal’s 2024 Power Law List

Eckert Seamans’ Harrisburg office Member-In-Charge Michael McAuliffe Miller has been named to the Central Penn Business Journal’s 2024 Power Law List. The annual list recognizes the Harrisburg region’s most significant, influential, and respected leaders and behind-the-scenes change-makers in the legal industry. In addition to serving as Member-In-Charge of Eckert Seamans’ Harrisburg office, Miller is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and an ex officio member of the Executive Committee. He focuses his practice on management-side employment and labor law. For 27 years, Miller has routinely served as a counselor to the State Senate, Commonwealth agencies, and counties, cities, colleges, municipalities, school districts, authorities, and corporations to resolve matters before federal and state administrative agencies, including the National Labor Relations Board, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. He and his team have litigated numerous employment-related litigation matters, including claims of race, age, disability, and gender discrimination; sexual harassment; wrongful discharge; and breach of contract.

The Harrisburg office is an integral part of Eckert Seamans, with a history of more than 35 years serving clients across the capital region of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The office includes more than 30 attorneys with multiple areas of focus, including Business Counseling, Energy and Utilities, Gaming, Government Affairs, Labor & Employment, Public Finance, Real Estate, and Transportation, among many others.
