Eckert Seamans Expands New York Offerings with Addition of Corporate Member Robert Lustrin

National law firm Eckert Seamans has welcomed Robert Lustrin as a Member based in the firm’s New York City and White Plains offices. He joins the firm’s Corporate, M&A and Securities practice group from Reed Smith LLP.
Lustrin brings more than 30 years of experience advising shipping and offshore industry clients on corporate and U.S. securities law matters, and is well known in the international shipping community. During his career, Lustrin has represented both domestic and international clients in a variety of capital markets securities offerings, including public and private equity offerings, high-yield and convertible debt offerings, Rule 144A and Regulation S offerings, mergers and acquisitions and tender offers.
In addition, Lustrin advises clients on U.S. securities law disclosure and compliance matters, including the preparation and filing of disclosure and beneficial ownership reports under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and related SEC rules and regulations. He holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
