Eckert Seamans Enhances Washington, D.C. Office with Addition of Commercial Litigation Member Elizabeth Olien

National law firm Eckert Seamans has welcomed Elizabeth E. Olien as a Member in the Commercial Litigation practice group. She joins the firm’s Washington, D.C. office from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.

Olien has experience representing businesses of all sizes, including technology companies and online platforms, fintechs and financial institutions, and educational institutions, as well as individuals, in a variety of business disputes, appeals, regulatory enforcement actions, and internal investigations. She has represented clients under investigation by state attorneys general and other federal agencies and litigated matters involving consumer protection, contractual, fiduciary duty, and other business issues.

Prior to joining private practice, Olien held roles at the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts and worked as a management and technology consultant at global consulting firm Accenture. She holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.S. in Economics from Virginia Tech.
