Eckert Seamans Attorney Selected to Super Lawyers 2022 Washington D.C. Rising Stars

Eckert Seamans is pleased to announce that Drew M. Derco, a member in the Aviation and Aerospace practice group, selected to the 2022 Washington D.C. Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.
Drew is recognized by peers and was selected to Rising Stars for 2017 – 2020, 2022. This selection is based off of an evaluation of 12 indicators including peer recognition and professional achievement in legal practice.
Derco counsels U.S. and foreign airlines on aviation regulatory and policy matters before a number of federal agencies, including the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), and Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. While up to 5 percent of the lawyers in a state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to Rising Stars. All attorneys first go through the Super Lawyers selection process. Those who are not selected to the Super Lawyers list, but meet either one of the Rising Stars eligibility requirements, then go through the Rising Stars selection process.
