Eckert Seamans Appoints Myra Kilgore and Robert Trosky to Senior Management Team

The firm has named a Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Information Officer

National law firm Eckert Seamans has promoted Myra Kilgore to Chief Human Resources Officer and Robert Trosky to Chief Information Officer of the firm, effective January 23, 2023. Both valued and dedicated team members of the firm for years, Kilgore and Trosky will continue to oversee and drive firmwide initiatives across Eckert Seamans’ 15 offices while working closely with the firm’s executive committee.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Kilgore will continue to manage all aspects of human resources and administration at the firm, including benefits, training & development, inclusion, recruitment, compliance, employee relations, and various other offerings and initiatives. She joined Eckert Seamans in 2003 and has since overseen the implementation of several firmwide programs, including a Technology Education Program and Annual Curriculum, a C.A.R.E. Program focused on security, inclusion, and harassment prevention training, a Certified Application Specialist Program, and a Legal Support Intern Program. Kilgore has served several terms on the Board of the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health and as a judge for the PBGH Innovation Summit.

In his role as Chief Information Officer, Trosky will continue to lead and evolve all areas of the firm’s IT and security department, including the firm’s help desk, information systems, networks, applications, litigation technology, and security groups. In his past five years with the firm, he has implemented numerous IT initiatives, including cloud solutions, mobile workforce abilities, and upgraded security programs, among many others. In addition, Trosky guides the firm’s executive team regarding the protection of sensitive information, ensuring the data security of clients and the firm is highly protected. Prior to joining Eckert Seamans, he oversaw technology services for a global communications firm.
