CEO Tim Ryan discusses oversight of attorney board involvement with The Legal Intelligencer

Firm CEO Timothy P. Ryan was featured in a Legal Intelligencer article titled “Law Firms Have Reined in Partner Board Memberships,” which appeared on August 10.
In the article about law firm oversight of attorney board involvement, Ryan told The Legal that Eckert Seamans’ board-membership policy has been in place for about a decade.
“Part of that is to ensure that we can track what boards our lawyers are part of for conflict purposes, but also to make sure, in appropriate cases, the lawyers are provided with insurance for their board participation,” said Ryan.
