This webinar will explore the legislative efforts over the years to close gender pay gap. The session includes the prohibition against sex discrimination under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, the Federal Equal Pay Act (and its exceptions for unequal pay based on “factors other than sex”), and the current push by states and municipalities to ban the use of salary histories in the hiring process.
