Overview
Sophia Hood is an Associate in the firm’s Estates & Trusts practice group, where she assists clients with a wide range of estate planning and administration matters. Her work includes preparing wills, trusts, and related planning instruments, as well as advising on estate and trust administration and related fiduciary issues, including fiduciary matters involving financial institutions. She also assists with litigation matters in Orphans’ Court.
Sophia earned her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. During law school, she completed significant coursework in transactional and drafting-focused classes, sharpening her skills in contract analysis, document preparation, and practical problem solving.
She also successfully completed the firm’s 2024 Summer Associate Program, where she worked closely with attorneys across practice groups.
