Overview

William Badinelli focuses his practice on a broad range of commercial litigation matters, with experience spanning mass tort bankruptcy claims, broker-dealer litigation and arbitration, regulatory investigations, and criminal prosecution.

Prior to joining private practice, William served as in-house litigation counsel to a global brokerage and investment bank, where he represented the firm and its registered representatives in customer arbitrations, internal investigations, and regulatory inquiries involving the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”), U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and state regulators.

William began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Special Victims Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney’s Office. There, he prosecuted hundreds of cases involving sexual assault and child abuse, gaining extensive courtroom experience and honing his skills in victim advocacy, negotiation, and trial strategy.

Interests

Outside the office, William is an Eagle Scout and enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
